So, I'd actually like to make a few comments on this one.
Normally you see these pixel-perfect, ultra-clinical renditions of space scenes by people far more skilled than I could ever hope to be. Grand, crisp planets orbiting even grander, crisper ones. They are everywhere and they are breathtaking. But then I realized they are also almost exclusively very clean. Too clean, one might think. So I did this little piece. Instead of using artificial elements and textures, this photo manipulation is constructed purely from my own, naked photos of the Stockholm skies as well as the moon. The images are grainy and relatively low-resolution.
Somehow I think this more filthy, impure feel add to the image instead of taking away from it. A slightly grittier side of science fiction scenery. Just wanted to point this out – that these are real photos, the real deal, all the way. Hopefully this means more soul and warmth and less feelings of streamlined mass-production.

Oh my God, this goes straight into my heart. The moon is something I will always love. Draw a circle and call it a moon, I'd like it immediately, but what you did here, I don't even have the words right now to describe what I feel about it. But sure enough, if I do the word, it would be the most positive word in my vocabulary. I will get back to you on that.
